Wenpeng Zhang

Department of Precision Instrument at Tsinghua University

Wenpeng Zhang is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Precision Instrument at Tsinghua University. He received his B.Sc. in 2010 and Ph.D. in 2015 from Wuhan University. Prior to joining Tsinghua University, he was a postdoctoral scholar in the School of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Chemistry at Purdue University. His primary research interests focus on the development of structural lipidomics methodologies and miniature mass spectrometry systems for point-of-care analysis. He has published more than 90 peer-reviewed papers in these and related areas. He currently serves as an Editor of Green Analytical Chemistry and an Associate Editor of Frontiers in Chemistry. He is a recipient of the Excellent Young Scientists Fund of NSFC and has received honors including the Jin Guofan Prize for Excellent Youth from the China Instrument and Control Society and the Zhu Liangyi Analytical Instrument Innovation Award.
