Prof. Chunyong WU earned his PhD from the University of Tokyo. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the Office of Academic Affairs at China Pharmaceutical University, and concurrently as Deputy Dean of both the College of Modern Pharmaceutical Industry and the College of Excellence in Biomedical Engineering. He is also a National GCP Inspection Expert and has been honored as a Jiangsu Provincial Teaching Master.

His research focuses on spatiotemporal analysis of drug disposition and the development of organoid and organ-on-a-chip models. He has led four projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as a Yunnan Provincial Expert Workstation project. He has co-authored more than 60 SCI-indexed articles in journals including Anal Chem, J Control Release, and Chem Eng J. He has filed 10 invention patents applications, five of which have been granted. As a principal contributor, he has received a Certificate of Scientific and Technological Achievement from the Ministry of Education, and the Second Prize of the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
