Professor Wang Sicen is the Dean of School of Pharmacy, Xi'an Jiaotong University. He has undertaken 6 programs of the Natural Sciences Foundation of China. Professor Wang is Vice Director of Pharmaceutical Analytical Pharmacy Branch, China Association for Instrumental Analysis, and also the Director and member of Pharmaceutical Analysis Branch, Shaanxi Pharmaceutical Association, China. Vice Director of a Council of Shaanxi Pharmaceutical Association, China, MOE New Century Excellent Talents in University, Shaanxi Rising Star for Science and Technology.

Professor Wang studied in pharmaceutical analysis and received his Ph.D. from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2006, and as professor (2011-). His research interests include the developing biomedical coating materials and its application, developing new materials and method for screening the active components from natural medicines. Professor Wang has published 131 SCI papers, and H-index is 38. He won the Outstanding Young Scientist Award of Science China Person of 2013, the National Award for Technological Invention (2012), Shaanxi Scientific Award for Natural Sciences (2005, 2008, 2016, 2019), Special Government Allowance of the State Council of China (2019), Stanford University’s Top 2% Scientists list (2025). Professor Wang is the team leader of the Key Team on Scientific and Technological Innovation in Shaanxi Provence, and also Chief editor of Northwest Pharmaceutical Journal (Chinese), an Vice editor of Pharmaceutical Science Advances, editorial member of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis.
