Igor CLAROT (55 years old) is full Professor in analytical chemistry since 2015 in Université de Lorraine (UL, Faculty of Pharmacy). Igor Clarot received his Ph.D degree in analytical chemistry in 2000 from Limoges University (France) for a thesis on a topic related to separation sciences. He is actually co-head of the Biomolecules-Bioprocess research team of UMR 7274 LRGP (Reactions and Process Engineering Laboratory). He is also co-scientific manager of the analytical platform Sampl in LRGP. Since 2021, he is involved as a pharmaceutical analytical expert in the French (ANSM) and European (EDQM) drug authorities. Since 2025, he is the president of the Association of Faculty Members and Researchers in Analytical Sciences at France's Schools of Pharmacy (AESAP). He organized and worked as symposium chair of eAPA-2022 in Nancy (France). For the last ten years, his research focused on analytical evaluation of nanoparticles and nanostructured supports. He authored around 70 peer-reviewed research papers published in international journals and mainly focused on nanoparticles, medicine quality control and separation sciences (3 patents and 12 invited lectures).
