Li Xu, a full professor in Tongji School of Pharmacy, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. She received her PhD degree from National University of Singapore. She was a visiting research fellow in Hongkong University and University of Basel. Her research interests focus on separation and analysis of complex samples, and precision analysis of drugs and drug effector molecules. As the first or corresponding author, she has published more than 130 SCI papers in top international journals including Advanced Science, Bioactive Materials and Analytical Chemistry, etc. She contributed five chapters to the academic books, like the English monograph Comprehensive Sampling and Sample Preparation, as well as Handbook of Analytical Chemistry - Liquid Chromatography Analysis (3rd Edition). She serves as the associate editor and has participated in compiling seven national planned undergraduate textbooks. She was awarded as Ministry of education of the new century talents and Hubei Chutian scholar.
